GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Please do not finalize a booking without reading and understanding these terms and conditions and all the other terms and conditions applicable to your booking.
We are only an intermediary in making arrangements for hotels, airlines, tour operators, bus operators, car rental companies, travel insurance companies, and other travel agencies with the appropriate permits and accreditations to provide certain services. Therefore, all bookings made through us are governed by our suppliers’ terms and conditions. As agents, we do not have direct or exclusive control over our suppliers. We act in good faith and cannot be held liable for damages incurred due to our suppliers’ and their employees’ actions, whether negligent or otherwise.
You will receive a quotation as a response to your query. It contains the estimate costs of your travel plans. The quotation is neither a billing statement nor a contract.
VALIDITY OF QUOTATION
A quotation is valid only at the time of issuance.
The inclusions specified in a quotation are not yet reserved for you.
You can request for a billing statement for us to temporarily reserve the inclusions specified in a quotation. But please note that some inclusions can not be temporarily reserved.
BOOK AND BUY BASIS
If an item can not be reserved, that item is book and buy. It means that you must pay the amount due first before we can finalize the booking with our suppliers.
The rates stated in our quotations are subject to change.
The inclusions stated in our quotation are subject to availability.
Once you inform us that you wish to finalize the booking, we will send you a billing statement. Please provide all the required informaiton such as your name (exactly the same as that on your valid identification or passport), date of birth, and contact details in writing (through e-mail, messenger, or SMS).
Read the contents of the billing statement carefully because once we receive your payment, we will finalize the booking based on the particulars stated in the billing statement.
TOTAL AMOUNT DUE
The total amount due indicated in the billing statement is the total amount you’re going to pay.
If there are no changes in rate and inclusions, the total amount due will be the same as that presented in the quotation.
Payment must be made on or before the indicated due date. We reserve the right to return payments made past the due date. We reserve the right to cancel all the temporarily reserved inclusions if payment is not made on or before the due date without giving prior notice.
BOOK AND BUY
If the due date is tagged as “Book and Buy”, it means you have to pay the total amount due immediately so that we can finalize the booking with our suppliers as soon as possible. If the rate and inclusions change after you receive the billing statement, you can either accept the changes or cancel the booking.
If the rate stated in the billing statement changes due to exchange rate fluctuations, sudden price increases, tax changes, or any other reason, you are required to pay the increase when notified or you may choose to cancel the booking which may result in cancellation fees. We are not liable in any way if an increase occurs. Rates quoted are appropriate to the particular inclusions and itinerary at the time of issuance of the billing statement and these rates may change prior to the travel date. All rates and availability of inclusions are subject to change and can be withdrawn or modified without notice.
We reserve the right to disregard the inclusiosn stated on the billing statement and to modify it without prior notice if the status of availability of the same changes.
BOOK AND BUY
Book and buy packages must be paid through over-the-counter cash payments or bank deposit only.
The rates quoted are for Philippines Peso payments made over-the-counter or deposited to our bank account
We only accept Philippine Peso (PHP) and US Dollar (USD) payments.
If you wish to pay in US Dollars, we will convert using this formula:
Total Amount Due / (Current Exchange Rate – 5.00)
PROOF OF PAYMENT
Keep your proof of payment. We can not be held liable for damgaes incurred as a result of your failure to keep and present to us a copy of your proof of payment.
Valid proofs of payment: bank despoit slip, money transfer receipt, online transfer acknowledgement.
You may inform us that you wish to finalize the booking anytime during office hours.
We try to finalize bookings as soon as we receive your payment.
A booking is considered final once we have receive a written confirmation from our suppliers.
AMENDMENT OF FINALIZED BOOKINGS MADE BY CUSTOMER
Amendment refers to any change applied to the original finalized booking such as (but not limited to) change of name, change of flight, and/or change of itinerary.
Our suppliers’ terms, conditions, and amendment fees shall apply.
Any change made by the customer to the existing booking must be made in writing.
CANCELLATION OF FINALIZED BOOKINGS MADE BY CUSTOMER
Bookings made through us are governed by the terms and conditions of our suppliers. Policies on the cancellation of finalized bookings are determined by our suppliers, not HideOut.
MODIFICATION/CANCELLATION BY SUPPLIER
Please note that we are only acting as an agent of the services rendered by our suppliers. Even after full payment has been made, all arrangements are still subject to our suppliers’ final confirmation.
We reserve the right to modify or cancel finalized bookings if, for whatever reason whether negligent or otherwise, our suppliers decide to modify or cancel any or all of the inclusions and itineraries in your finalized booking. In this case, we will notify you of the changes immediately after we receive a notification from our supplier. However, if the modification or cancellation is due to bad weather or other unforeseen circumstances on your travel date, prior notification may not be given.

All dates mentioned in all the documents that we release are based on GMT +8 or Manila, Philippines time.
TICKETS AND VOUCHERS
A booking is final between HideOut and our suppliers once all the tickets and vouchers are already issued to us.
It is your responsibility to check the issued tickets and vouchers for necessary omissions and corrections. We can not accept liability for damages incurred as a result of your failure to immediately report the same.
Our suppliers will send us the tickets and vouchers after we finalize the booking with them. We will send the tickets and vouchers to you immediately after we receive the same.
Our suppliers will look for your tickets/vouchers as proof of your confirmed and paid booking.
We recommend that you print extra copies of the said documents and keep 1 copy inside your luggage/bag.
We can re-send copies of the tickets and vouchers upon your request.
ACCURACY OF BOOKING
We base all our bookings on the information that we receive from our clients. We assume that all the information we receive are correct and are exactly the same as those in the travel documents in your possession. We can not accept liability for any damage incurred due to your failure to submit to us in writing all the correct information necessary in finalizing your booking.
DISCLOSURE OF YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION TO OUR SUPPLIERS
We may need to disclose to our suppliers any or all of your personal information including but not limited to your complete legal name and mobile number for whatever purpose it may serve.
It is your responsibility to procure all the travel documents needed. We can not accept liability from damages incurred as a result of your failure to possess and present the necessary travel documents.
We do not automatically include travel insurance. If you wish to avail of a travel insurance, we can include the applicable premium to the total amount that you need to pay.
Request for a copy of the insurance policy prior to payment. Your payment signifies your acceptance of the insurance policies sent to you.
We can not accept liability for damages incurred as a result of your failure to avail of a travel insurance. Likewise, we can not accept liability for damages incurred as a result of your failure to read and understand the insurance policies.
Suppliers have different policies when it comes to children. If you are traveling with children, it is your responsibility to disclose their correct ages based on their travel documents. We can not accept liability for damages incurred as a result of your failure to give us the correct age of the children that you are traveling with.
SENIOR CITIZENS DISCOUNT
Some suppliers give discounts to senior citizens provided that they present valid identification (OSCA ID). Please send us a copy of your OSCA ID so that we can apply the senior citizens discount.
We reserve the right to refuse giving discounts to senior citizens without OSCA ID.
SUPPLIER TERMS AND CONDITIONS
All bookings made through us are governed by our supplier terms and conditions.
We can not be held liable for damages incurred and for failure to perform due, without limitation, to acts of God, war, warlike conditions, blockade, embargoes, riots, governmental restriction, labor disturbances, unavailability of anticipated usual means of supplies, transportation or loading facilities, wrecks, epidemics, quarantine, fire, flood, earthquake, explosion, any unforeseen change in circumstances, or any other causes beyond reasonable control.
